Makai Kingdom is a fine game, but it's also something of an exercise in treading water, and as the fourth largely-identical game in a row it's far from an essential purchase. It's not difficult to win the battles and finish the game but there is so much to unlock and explore in Makai Kingdom that you may never fully complete it.
